Most people may not know, but I’m a man of taste. So, for my birthday I bought myself a nice bottle of Crystal Head vodka, tickets to Madame Butterfly, and Michelangelo action figure. To be fair, I’ve had the tickets for a couple of months, but I’m going to count them because the opera is the day after my birthday. I don’t think I’ve ever spent this much on myself for my birthday, but it’s definitely worth it. So, happy birthday to me, everyone.
Well, Thursday night/early Friday morning, I finally beat Metroid Prime 3. Probably my lowest completion rate yet, but I knew in the end the power ups didn’t really even matter. It’s still one of the best Wii games out there, but after 3 Prime games in a row, I’m really glad to be done with it. I didn’t really remember a lot of the boss battles except of course Meta Ridley, Dark Samus, and the other bounty hunters. The environments are cool too, but seriously? You couldn’t even name the Pirate Homeworld? I’m sure the pirates don’t call it that. But I digress. I moved onto Metroid II Friday and I’ve already only got the Queen Metroid left so I’ll most likely beat it tonight. I’m really excited to move onto Super Metroid because, unfortunately, I’ve never played it. But at this rate my goal to beat every Metroid game by the start of school is all but unreachable. I’m sure I could beat the last three games in three days if I really just completely isolated myself. But, I’m not gonna do that. Either way, I continue on tonight/tomorrow.

Yesterday after almost 2 weeks of playing, I finally beat Metroid Prime 2. Work and the like drastically slowed down the process, but finishing in exactly 20 hours ain’t so bad. To me. But, seriously the key collecting in this game is so frustrating to me. I don’t think I could hate collecting missions anymore. The Emperor Ing is cool and all, but on the list of Metroid bosses, it’s very forgettable. Or it is to me at least. Anyway, I move on to Metroid Prime 3 tonight. I should blow through this more than likely, which is thankful seeing as I probably way off schedule. I know Super Metroid and Other M are gonna take me a minute since I’ve never played either of them. I’m sure I got this.
